Cart Source is a family-owned company that makes shopping carts, hand baskets, and back of house material handling equipment, plus patented anti-theft hardware. We work with retail stores, big box chains, distribution centers, and warehouses across the US, Canada, and internationally.

Founded by the Lazzarino family in 1959, Cart Source began as a company dedicated to shopping cart maintenance, earning a reputation for reliability and superior service. By 1968, we expanded into manufacturing shopping carts and material handling equipment, paving the way for decades of growth and innovation. We remain committed to quality, service, and our core values of diversity and innovation.

Originally serving the Canadian market, Cart Source expanded in 2015 and now serves customers across the US, Canada, and internationally. Cart Source products are made in ISO 9001:2015 certified factories controlled by Cart Source LLC, with pre-shipment final inspection; its headquarters and distribution center are in Jacksonville, Florida.

Cart Source designs its own anti-theft hardware. The Anti-Tilt Bar (ATB) is covered by U.S. Patent 11,673,427 and the Cart Source anti-theft pole by U.S. Patent 11,772,695, both assigned to Cart Source LLC.
